Edita Food Industries S.A.E. (EFID.CA on the Egyptian Exchange & EFID.L on the London Stock Exchange), a leader in the Egyptian packaged snack food market, announces a cooperation protocol signed today between Edita Foundation for Social Development, the esteemed Al-Khair and Baraka charity organization, and the dedicated New Woman Foundation. This groundbreaking partnership marks a significant milestone in Edita’s continued commitment to empowering underprivileged communities. The project, funded with a donation of EGP 3 million from Edita Food Industries, aims to address chronic malnutrition-related growth impairment and malnutrition in Ezbat Khairalla and Asmarat over a 30-month period.
This initiative reinforces Edita Foundation for Social Development’s ongoing commitment to its CSR priorities of education and healthcare. Following its successful partnership with Educate Me to empower local youth with access to quality education, Edita is now extending its impact to address crucial healthcare challenges faced by underprivileged communities across Egypt. By fostering sustainable change through education and now healthcare, Edita seeks to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the underprivileged community.
